Eternium Fishing Line bug

I'm having an issue that seems to be related to the stickied bug listed in the Professions forum but it's not quite identical.

I had a fishing pole with the High Test Eternium line, the one that grants the +5 bonus.

My game time expired a few months ago and I only renewed my subscription recently, post 3.3.3 so I am not positive exactly when this issue developed.

Upon logging back into the game, the fishing pole is now displaying a +2 bonus. When the pole is equipped, the adjusted fishing level listed on the skill tab of the character pane also indicates that the bonus is a +2, rather than functioning as a +5.

The sticky indicated that there was an error with the replacement message and that the line still functioned at a +5- this is different from my issue in that the line was already applied and seems to be negatively impacting my skill level. Although the change from a +5 to a +2 in both cases leads me to think it might be related.

I had filed an in-game ticket but was unable to speak directly to a GM. I just got a pre-written message as a response and the GM in question seems to have misunderstood my problem, since his response was related to an unused Truesilver line that was sitting in my bank, rather than the change to the line that had already been applied to my pole.

Anyone else having a similar problem? If so, did you manage to get in contact with a GM that comprehended what they were being told? The last response I got took a little over 24 hours and utterly failed to address my concern, so while another day on the follow up ticket, I was hoping someone else might be able to offer some insight.

Interesting. The only plus 2 enchantment I'm aware of is for gloves. Perhaps I'm behind on available enchantments though, I'll take a look and see what's up.

Loxosceles, check your character's mail. :) We'll see if that resolves the issue.
