Account Hacked, can't get a hold of Blizzard

When I tried to log on to my account the other day it asked for an Authentication key which I did not authorize.

I can't log into this account as I do not know the password and I can't even log into my account to cancel my subscription. This person now also has my credit card info if he has been logging onto my account.

I have tried for 3 days and called the Blizzard Account number over 200 times and they always say that they are too busy to accept my call.

I ran several virus scans and they all came up negative so I'm not sure how this nerd got into my account. What should I do?

Well, it can't hurt to review our threads and links on security here. Please keep in mind that most keyloggers are spyware, and not malware. Many malware scans will not detect them!

When you run scans, it's also best to have World of Warcraft open, and with (fake) text entered into the account name and password fields, since some programs are very adept at hiding until then.

Finally, this thread can act as a handbook for the account recovery process, and it would be a good idea to review it carefully:

I'm sorry to hear that you've had some trouble getting through =(. Some persistence and a ready finger on the redial button should help. Also, it's best to use a land line, since there can be issues remaining on hold for any length of time on battery operated telephones.
