Items restored to inactive account?

Over the last week or so I had 3 inactive accounts stripped, they used a "come back to Wow for a week" offer to activate them long enough to pilfer everything. I didn't notice the accounts were compromised until 4 days after they had begun using them, when they all got banned. I talked to a friendly CS person on the phone and everything was apparently restored, but I'm having a hard time finding out if it's complete because after the 3 day ban, my 7 free days are up.

I'm wondering if the in-game mail used to restore my items has a timer like normal mail? What about the Penquin and Core Hound pets? My accounts were inactive for a reason, no time to play currently... I'd hate to log in 2 months from now and have everything that was restored be missing. I'd equally dislike having to pay $30 to activate my other 2 accounts and loot the restored items. I'm only able to post this now because the hacker somehow got a 1 month referral reward on this account.

Restoration e-mails will last for 90 days; however, the penguin and core hound attachments will likely expire from the mail in 30 days. I suggest contacting our Billing Department in regards to this matter, Sly. Tell them that your account was compromised and that you had a number of items restored, but you need to log into these accounts briefly just to reclaim the items to ensure they do not disappear from your mailbox. I cannot offer any guarantees, but they may be able to provide you with an extra day of game time to take care of the things you need to take care of. They can be reached using one of the following methods:
