Adhering to the Code of Conduct would be a good start, Thry. You also refused to actually have a conversion regarding this. Insisting that your myopic views are correct and speaking ill of anyone else who dares to disagree is not a conversation, it's a tantrum.

I am sorry that your account was compromised. Please review the link I previously provided regarding computer/account security. When running your scans make sure you do so with the Launcher program running, some programs are not always detectable unless they are active.

I would have to say that yes this is legitimate, but this does NOT explain why Mac users are being hacked/exploited.

These programs are not intended to work with Mac computers.

That is not entirely true and to think you are immune simply because you are using a Mac would be naive. It is also important to remember that there are other methods of compromise. If they are unable to get you to download a keylogging or otherwise malicious program one other method is to get you to visit other links that look like official Blizzard sites and enter in your account information.

It is also important to note that many people use the same account name/e-mail address/password for multiple programs and sites which can contribute to a compromise.

ok mr gm so all the ways u just said they can hack us, what if i know for a fact that none of them happened to me?? is it still my fault??

Do you also know for a fact that you have kept your account information secure, Thry? You are trying to draw a simplistic conclusion that because you can not figure out how the account was compromised it must be from Blizzard. Yet if we deny it you assume we are lying.

So we are at an impasse. I can say with absolute certainty that our systems have not been compromised but that means nothing to you because you are unable to see what I can. So you must make a choice, you either believe me and all the logical evidence that supports my conclusion or you believe I am lying.

In either case I'm not certain what your point would be in posting here. If you believe me to be a liar and you refuse to believe anything to the contrary then do you actually think I will throw up my hands and say " well, gosh, you got us" and tell you of my diabolical scheme? If you were correct that doesn't seem likely. If you are wrong, which given the evidence at hand is much more likely, then you must admit to the possibility that you may have unwittingly caused the compromise of your account.

I can't tell you how you may have been compromised, Thry, I can give you possibilities. I can give you recommendations on how to make sure your account is secure. From experience though if you did not answer a phishing e-mail, go to a fake website or pick up a keylogger you likely provided your account information to someone (wittingly or not) who either compromised your account or through their lack of security caused it to be compromised.
