I've been Google-ing around looking for an answer for this. I'm likely just missing something, but I couldn't find one.

First off: I did put in a ticket about this. I'm just looking for a little more information during my wait.

I am a bit of a nerd for the holiday events. I love getting my achievements done, my titles, and working towards the greater goal of big purple dragon thingamajig. That being said, I was working on some of little Roo's quests this morning and turned in the final one with the Orphan Matron in Dalaran without realizing what I was doing. A silly mistake and entirely my own fault, I know, but I wasn't aware that I would lose the whistle... My real question is: am I now unable to get it back and complete the rest of my achievements this year?

Yep! You should be able to complete these achievements with any of the orphans, Maxine. :)

That being said, once you've completed the quests, you should be able to speak with a Matron to acquire a new whistle!
