Wowstead.com Compromised

Wowstead.com was compromised on 4/26. They hacked into the website and stole the client data base. So if you have the same log in info as wowstead I suggest you change battle.nets. They seem to be targeting high ranking officers in guilds to be able to have a free access to guild banks.

4 of our officers were compromised because of this. I just wanted to give a heads up. Authenticator is a good option also. Just to give the extra security.

Actually, if they get their hands on the password file, not really that hard.

That's why we recommend NEVER using the same pass/ID for WoW anywhere else, that becomes a crime of opportunity.

But in any case, no matter what websites you may sign up to - please, if the password and ID is the same, changing it NOW may prevent some heartaches in the future.
