Please remove authenticator from my account

Apple replaced my unit this morning and I restored from my last sync, but I still cannot login.

Please remove the authenticator from my account!


Unfortunately, only Billing is able to remove authenticators.

As long as you sent the email from the email address that is registered to your account, it should take up to 48 hours to receive an email back.

When you call Billing, spam redial the second that you hang up. This is the best way to get into the hold queue once a spot opens up. I tried this a few days ago and I got in in 12 tries.

Do to obvious security concerns we are unable to remove an authenticator by forum request, Sekhet. However, if you continue to experience difficulty with contacting our Billing department by phone, then you are welcome to submit a copy of the following Terms of Use form along with a photocopy of your ID as an alternative way to request the removal of an authenticator from an account:

I apologize for any confusion, Steale.

The post that you linked is in regards to an authenticator that appears to have been added during a compromise. If we can 100% confirm that an authenticator has been attached to an account during a compromise by a malicious party then we can sometimes assist with removing that authenticator with minimal verification or via a forum request.

However, even in those situations assistance via forum support is not guaranteed as there are a large number of risks involved with removing an authenticator without direct verification of the account in question.
