Greetings,
Referred a Friend.
He's paid for two months of game time.
???
No profit.
I've just read into the new Refer a Friend mount and can thank whichever God in WoW would be appropriate that I have not claimed my mount yet. Then, I look into how to claim it, and find it's not claimable. My dilemma is that I have referred a friend, and he has paid for two months. Now, I can speculate that one month was paid for prior to his account being converted to the battle.net, and one month after. I checked through the RaF FAQs and found only one thing slightly pertaining to my cause:
On this note, how can I qualify for a Zhevra mount? Are all accounts eligible?
Only linked veteran accounts are eligible for our promotional Zhevra mount. Each eligible veteran account will qualify for this item once a recruit account upgrades to a retail version of World of Warcraft and purchases 60 days of game time.
Again, in order for your veteran account to be eligible for this mount, it must be linked with a recruit account. Friends and family members who have created an account prior to 08/05/2008 will not qualify for this promotion and will not be linked with your account.
Can I redeem the Zhevra mount after the 90-day link expires? Yes.
The thing being is that it states the recruit account must upgrade to a retail version (He has BC), and purchase 60 days of game time (He has at this point). It does not state that he has to be currently linked to my account while this is conspiring. This would be very misleading. On a side note: my RaF quit again :(, but it is because he isn't interested in purchasing wrath. I may be coerced into purchasing Wrath for him, and then him paying for a third month of game time. Would this then be recognized by the criteria system (Whatever it is, I don't know!) and reward me the mount?
