I made a stupid mistake when i was real tired 1 morning and turned in 40 frost badges in stead of triumphs. I know im fail, but it was an honest mistake. I did the same thing the week before with triumphs and bought SoH rep instead of badges for a boa wep. I have a toon exalted and the chants are bop so im not scamming you blizz. When I bought the wrong badges i didnt spend any on that toon for the 3 days it took u to get back to me. Once again i'm not trying to scam u blizz! I made a mistake. I am owning up to my part of it. Now i wan't blizz to tell me why they havent fixed the system. Cause the badge turn in now is fail and im sure im not the only person to get bit by it. Nothing else said its a royal pain in the butt.
I also think its said that ive been playing wow for years, paying for multiple accounts and blizz wouldnt help me. I dont read the agreements. Anyone know if it states that i have to be perfect? This isnt the first ticket ive had to put in for theres been many bugs through out my wow career. Overall I find that the gm's arent very helpful and you have to wait sometimes over a week to get nothing accomplished. Its no seceret blizz is raking in money and they know people get addicted to it. So why bother helping you out right, i'm still playing. My point is blizz should learn to treat thier customers a little better!

Update: Alternate Currency Reimbursements
http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=24401851725&sid=1
Q u o t e:
In February, you may recall that we created a post (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=23042534148&sid=1) clarifying our stance on refunding items purchased with Alternate Currency (Badges, Emblems, etc). We’ve been monitoring your feedback closely since that announcement. While nothing major has changed in regards to that policy, we would like to take this opportunity to announce the following amendment:

  • Going forward, if a player has mistakenly downgraded Emblems (for example, downgrading from Frost to Triumph), our In-Game Support team may honor a refund/reversal, if a request for reimbursement is submitted within 72 hours of the conversion and the converted emblems have not been spent.

Why are Emblem conversions an exception to the reimbursement policy?
The functionality of the in-game refund system is central to this philosophy. In-game vendors allow players to obtain direct refunds for item purchases within a reasonable timeframe. However, this system does not facilitate refunds for Emblem conversions. As the value of some Emblems relative to others can be vastly different, and players have limited recourse for erroneous conversions, we are willing to assist within a reasonable time frame.

I'm sure you've seen the quoted text by now, Cantpickone. This update is important not only because it represents a change in policy, but because the change may have a notable impact on many players' in-game experience—including yours.

As the text states, if our in-game Support staff is notified of an accidental Emblem conversion within 72 hours of the conversion (and provided none of the converted Emblems are spent), we may be able to assist. The 72-hour notification window will be based on when the petition or email to [email protected] is submitted, not when the report itself is addressed.

Now, going over your posting account's petition history, it seems that your requests for assistance with accidental Emblem conversions occurred prior to this change in policy. It's because of the feedback we received from players like you that our stance regarding Alternate Currency reimbursements has been adjusted. Though this change is not retroactive, should you ever accidentally downgrade the wrong type or quantity of Emblems again, please open an in-game petition as soon as possible, and we'll be happy to see if we can help out.

In the meantime, if you feel the in-game refund system should be changed to better support Emblem downgrades, please feel free to drop a line within our Suggestions Forum. While your posts will not receive a response due to legal reasons, they will most certainly be read. Our developers and designers would love to hear from you. :)
