Not specifically, Jalinar, the only way you can currently block the sound something makes is by turning off your sound. Although not an ideal situation that is currently the only option available.

Because of the way certain items work this is not something that can be addressed in a hotfix. I don't currently have an estimate on when a resolution may be implemented but please know that our Developers are very much aware of the various feedback regarding this pet.

I am sorry for what frustration this matter may cause.
