Blizzard Post
In February, you may recall that we created a post (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=23042534148&sid=1) clarifying our stance on refunding items purchased with Alternate Currency (Badges, Emblems, etc). We’ve been monitoring your feedback closely since that announcement. While nothing major has changed in regards to that policy, we would like to take this opportunity to announce the following amendment:

    - Going forward, if a player has mistakenly downgraded Emblems (for example, downgrading from Frost to Triumph), our In-Game Support team may honor a refund/reversal, if a request for reimbursement is submitted within 72 hours of the conversion and the converted emblems have not been spent.

Why are Emblem conversions an exception to the reimbursement policy?

The functionality of the in-game refund system is central to this philosophy. In-game vendors allow players to obtain direct refunds for item purchases within a reasonable timeframe. However, this system does not facilitate refunds for Emblem conversions. As the value of some Emblems relative to others can be vastly different, and players have limited recourse for erroneous conversions, we are willing to assist within a reasonable time frame.
