Authenticator serial code changed

like the topic states, my authenticator serial code changed, i was forced to reformat my ipod touch which has the authenticator app on it thinking that since the app is saved in my itunes that so was the serial code ect. this was not the case, now i cannot remove the old authenticator serial number because i require an authenticator code from it to access the account management to do so, i have the old serial number written down and i also have a new serial number on my ipod. i have tried to call the blizzard billing support line a few times now but the lines a tied up and i would like to know if its possible to do anything about this issue.

It will likely be necessary to unlink the existing Authenticator and attach the new one. You should be able to make the request via email at [email protected]. If a telephone call proves necessary, players have reported good results via patience and a ready finger on the redial button. I hope our staff is in a position to provide assistance soon.
