[PROBLEM] X-53 Touring Rocket

It was my understanding that those who already got the zhevra would get the rocket also. That's the whole reason why I franctically scrambled to get the RAF process done before the rocket was released. I log into this toon thinking it would be in my mailbox and it wasn't there. I checked my RAF page and it says that I have no gift waiting for me. Can you please clarify if those people who already have the zhevra will be getting the rocket too or will we need to recruit someone else or will we be able to exchange the zhevra for the rocket? As much as I like the uniqueness of the zhevra I'd rather have the rocket because its the 2 seater flying mount.

Unfortunately, this understanding was mistaken. From the FAQ on the subject:

No, the Zhevra mount was a reward previously given out for the Recruit-A-Friend program. To get the X-53 Touring Rocket, you'll need to recruit a new friend.

Now, if you haven't actually redeemed a Zhevra you were eligible for from your Account Management page, then you should now instead acquire an X-53 instead of (but not in addition to) that mount.

There's no polite way to convey how disappointed I am in blizzards handling of the rockets launch (no pun intended). The zhevra was always ugly and useless, and an insult to RAFers with the advent of 2 person mounts, not giving us the X53 is a slap in the face.

I'm genuinely sorry if you are disappointed, but we did try to provide substantial notice (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=24038610961&sid=1), as well as the option to hold onto the Zhevra until the X-53 was redeemed to offer our players some options. In addition, these mounts are a cool bonus, not the purpose of the Recruit A Friend promotion. I hope that you were able to take full advantage of the experience and leveling benefits provided by the system.
