Lil' XT's voice is ANNOYING - can't shut off?

Good work Blizzard.

Again we find your developers with their bad sense of humor putting in something that is utterly annoying in mass. Maybe in small doses the train whistle or lil'XT is cute and funny, but when that god damned loud, annoying voice pierces through my speakers EVERY. GOD. DAMN. 10. SECONDS. it gets ANNOYING.

Short of turning off my sound, HOW can I shut off these stupid pets? I tried disabling pet sounds, but it doesn't work.

THINK BEFORE YOU IMPLEMENT THESE STUPID THINGS.

Now give us some way to turn off the special pet voices or something. It's god damned annoying.

We released a hotfix just a bit ago that has temporarily disabled some of the sounds Lil’ XT makes. The issue was that some of his sounds were flagged in such a way that they play for everyone around him and not just the player that owns the pet, an annoying problem to be sure. We can’t alter volume or who the sounds play for through a hotfix so the temporary workaround is to disable them completely right now until the proper fix can be patched in later.

Making the rest of the player base play without sound enabled is not the solution here.

You should no longer hear him unless he is your summoned pet.
