It's not terribly uncommon for an authenticator to be added to a compromised account in an attempt to slow down a player from recovering.
I know the phone queues can be a bit of a challenge to get through, but please do keep redialing. In the meantime what is vital to preventing this going forward is finding the source of the compromise. They WILL be back if whatever allowed them to obtain your password/ID is still present. To add an authenticator, those are two bits of information they had to have. Whether or not an account is actually accessed, once that information is in their possession, your security has been compromised.
I'll post fuller instructions below that compromised players need to know.
-------------------------
If an account has been merged to a Battle.net, or if an email has been changed, or an authenticator added to the account (not the player's own) one of your first stops is going to be Billing. They need to get those sorted out first so the rest of the processes can continue.

Now, it's very very important to figure out where the security breach occurred. If they CAN get back in, they WILL be back. That, unfortunately, you can count on.
These two stickies should prove helpful.
