Hey me and my buddy are trying to do Recruit a freind. he has made the new account, but in order to start playing there needs to be account verification email sent to him. we have been waiting for about 15 minutes and no email in the inbox.

Could this be a bug? could you send him a email please?

What e-mail are you speaking of? Once he creates the trial account using the Recruit-A-Friend key, he can begin playing. A confirmation e-mail is sent, but it is not required to play the game. Are you saying he created an account, but did not use the Recruit-A-Friend e-mail to do so? If this is the case, could you provide his character name and realm so I can verify his account and add the Recruit-A-Friend to the new account he did make?

when he logged on it said he needed to verify the email for the account, a email should be in the inbox of the email in the registration.

Oh, I see now, I apologize. The verification e-mail from initial Battle.net creation is required before he can manage his Battle.net account. If he has not received it, and has checked his spam and junk folders, he may wish to change the registered e-mail address on the account to something else. It is possible his e-mail service provider is flagging the automated mail as spam, so switching to a different e-mail could resolve the issue.
