Dissatisfied with Gryphon Hatchling

Hi, I was wondering why the vanity pet, Gryphon Hatchling, is shown as flying on the web site but in game it only scuttles around the ground like a cockroach. Clearly this vanity pet is misrepresented as a flying pet. I do not appreciate being deceived and/or mislead. Please respond.

P.S. I am not happy.
