Mine hackers and fake emails

So this mine teleport hacking crap has been going on for well over a year now. Reporting the characters / accounts being used to do this has very little effect because most of the people doing this arn't using their own accounts, they're using accounts that were stolen - most likely with all of the bogus emails that have been going around (for 2 years now..)

My Question to Blizzard is this - Why have you guys not prevented this from the game code level. It's your servers, you control the code base. All that has to be done here is team up a couple of your best code guys and make it so these people can't pull this crap anymore.

It's everywhere! How do I know this? Because while I was on my hunter I had track humaniods on, and while flying around you can clearly see these people "blinking" across the mini map, stop for a mining node and then blink away at light speed. I see horde and alliance characters doing this in just about every area of Northrend, and after searching through the forums I see posts going back to this time last year about it. It's obvious to me that blizzard is well aware of the issue but isn't putting hardly any resources towards it because as long as the player base keeps playing, they keep getting their money - and from their stand point there's no problem.

So basically until people start canceling their wow accounts and say they're doing so because of this rampent hacking going on, Blizzard isn't "really" going to do anything major about it.

So I did just that today - Cancel your account and let them know that allowing this to continue is unacceptable and we don't want anything to do with World of Warcraft because of it. Money talks and BS walks.

I truly wish you the best no matter where your adventures take you in the future, Butter. That being said, I believe it's important to note that this is an issue we do take very seriously and dedicate many man hours and resources to correcting. While I cannot go into details on steps we're taking to address and prevent this malicious activity, I can tell you that we want nothing more than for our players to see the results as soon as possible. It's not a simple task by any means, but we're committed to providing our players with a game environment free of exploitation and we'll do what we can to make that a reality.

For those of you who would like to do your part to put an end to this sort of exploitation, I strongly encourage you to read and share the following article with each and every one of your friends:

Once again, best wishes and good luck, Butter. Your patronage has been greatly appreciated; we hope to see you enjoying the World of Warcraft again sometime soon.
