Celestial Steed code redemption

I purchased the celestial steed and when I try to redeem the code it tells me "The selected World of Warcraft license is not available to play." This is my only account and I am able to log in into it just fine. After a few tries it now says to many attempts try again later. Is there an issue w/ my account? Any help would be great. ty

Couple things this could be.

The most likely is this is your Billing date, if that's the issue, it should clear up before too very long.

The other we are seeing is some folks are purchasing their mount from a region NOT the US. EU codes for example won't work on US realms.

You should be able to check for your Billing date in Account Administration. Those that have purchased a mount in another region will want to contact our Billing department.

I suspect this is a matter of your Billing date not working totally through the system yet. That should resolve in fairly short order, I'd give it a few more hours.
