I noticed that one of the Chinese website selling hacked accounts or keylogged accounts at 119.89 $USD, this totally insult the WoW Players as the Basic fee for playing WoW is 80 $USD. My friend told me that those accounts was pretty safe , he showed me his level 80 character with full epics, just costed him $119.89. I am thinking of quitting WoW as the staff won't really care how harsh to level a character from the ground. Anyone can help?

My Friend sent them a list of their characters last week but no one would really take a look from those emails.

I'm not certain I understand your issue, Sherlay. Was your friend's account compromised or are you attempting to report the sale or accounts that are likely compromised?

If your friend's account is compromised they'll need to regain control of the account and report the compromise. More information can be found in the following posts on compromises as well as security recommendations.

If you are indicating that there are sites selling accounts, Sherlay, I'd encourage you to report those accounts to our Hacks Department. They will look into those reports and do what they can.

Please understand that many of these investigations do take time.

Those responses are crappy automatic email, I doubt that Blizzard won;t read any email about reported hacked accounts and such. Did you guys try to call them by phone, their waiting time is 45-60 mins... This is totally unacceptable service. Saidly, we paid $15 per month + $80 for the account set up, we are just like an ant under a giant feet. If Blizzard doesn't take any action to this Chinese scam site, I am going to tell all of my friends about this story and post that in any of the gamer's forum.

So, you are going to give promotion to the very folks that likely stole your own account?

Really?

We do look into all reports of this nature. And no, please do not propagate such links as it only give them more visibility and can be actioned as actually advertising for them.

Well, my friend told me that he will publish the list at the gamer's forum, so they know how Blizzard attitude working on those hacked accounts, the public will judge it. See you all!

Our 'attitude' is don't buy accounts.

Now I know what to look for, I see these emails, and while hacks appreciate the heads up, your 'friend' has a problem - and if it's your problem, I know why you are having trouble recovering your account.

His main complaint - he BOUGHT a (stolen) account - they stole it BACK, now we aren't recovering it for him.

Not the way it works my friend. Accounts are NOT transferable, you cannot sell them, trade them, gift them, or let anyone else (with the exception of a minor and parent/guardian) use them.

Thieves are dishonest, go figure.

I know this may be a hard expensive lesson, but please don't deal with these people. Not only does it put yourself at risk (and your finances - they steal that type of information and identity information as well), but it keeps these folks in business to prey upon others.
