Account Frozen on Billing Day

So today is when the recurring payment for my main account occurs, and when this happens it freezes my entire account. I can't post on the forums (this is my second account), log into game, or get items from the blizzard pet shop. Honestly the pet shop is my main concern today. I just purchased the shiney sparkly new mount, but can't assign it to my main account since it's currently frozen.

How long will my account stay frozen? Why is it frozen like this every month? I've talked to others who say they never have this issue when they're accounts renew, which is why I'm curious.

I'm sorry if this situation has caused any confusion or inconvenience for you, Arihas. Recurring subscriptions will normally take up to 24 hours to fully process through our system. During this processing phase your account will often be temporarily listed as in a frozen status, and a few services that require an active account such as forum posting or claiming items from the pet store are temporarily disabled.

That being said, most players never notice this pending period as they are normally allowed to continue playing the game while a recurring subscription is being processed. However, as many players are attempting to redeem a Celestial Steed today, it has made this processing period much more apparent to those who may not be a frequent forum poster.

Once again, I’m sorry if this restriction has caused any inconvenience, but I hope this information helps bring some clarity and understanding to the situation at hand.
