Question about RaF mount

My husband and I are doing the RaF thing. We have about two months into it now (one month being the free month) but are leaving for vacation here in the near future. During that time we won't be able to play the game at all and would like to cancel our accounts for that period and restart them when we get back. Unfortunately this would occur in the middle of our 2 months of paid subscription requirement. I was wondering if it would keep us from receiving our mount if there was a subscription interruption? We, of course, understand that we still have to have the 2 full months of the referred account paid for to receive the mount, which we would complete upon our return. But, does it matter if the 2 months aren't paid for in succession?

In-game benefits and subscription rewards are two different elements of the Recruit-A-Friend program and each of them operate in different ways. In order for veteran and recruit characters to receive in-game benefits including triple experience and level granting, the 90-day Recruit-A-Friend must be active. Once the 90-day link expires, these benefits will no longer be received by characters on either account. It's important to note that the 90-day link operates on calendar time and there's currently no way to "pause" its countdown. So, if you and your husband take a break, you will miss out on the full in-game RAF experience.

That said, veteran accounts will remain eligible for Recruit-A-Friend subscription rewards even after the 90-day account link expires. This also means that if your recruit account pays for one month now and then the second month at later time, the veteran account will still be able to redeem the 30-day game credit and in-game mount. :)

Wait, the new mount will be automatically given as the mount, or will we have our choice? Because I have two accounts I did RAF with. I want both mounts, but only 1 month into the two months on both accounts.

If game cards work to give the instant pre-paid month, can I buy a game card online from the store and get the code right then? Because if this is going to change soon and I don't get a choice, I need to get the Zehvra before the soon time.

Once the X-53 Touring Rocket is released, any time a veteran account holder redeems a Recruit-A-Friend mount reward, he or she will receive the Rocket, not the Zhevra. According to all information we possess at present, the option to select between the two mounts will not be provided.

To answer your second question, though: yes. Pre-paid game cards and codes will instantly apply game time to an account. So, if 60 days of pre-paid time is added to your recruit account, the veteran account will qualify for the Recruit-A-Friend mount right away. If you want to ensure you receive the Zhevra mount, opting for pre-paid game cards or codes is probably a good course of action.

I would just like to know when its coming. No information for the past 7 days. There are a lot of us that have paid the fees to have the mount ready back when blizzard said it would be released in "just a few days". Now blizzard has our money and we still have no mount.

Now I understand tech issues but absolutely no new info for the last 7 days tho we have been asking for some. On top of that they go and release a new mount for sale in the blizzard store with still no new info on the mount we have been waiting for that was announced. I am wondering if blizzard would be willing to refund my vanilla purchase and my timecard purchase seeing as it feels like I was mislead.

We've no updates regarding the X-53 Touring Rocket's release, Bodacea. Once additional information becomes available, I'm sure we'll provide it. :)
