Gold Gambling should be an offense.

In Nesingwary there is a new outbreak of people wanting to have you give them X amount of gold, and the higher brackets you roll, the more money multiplies as a payout. They do so in Trade chat and yell in major cities.

I have scoured the forums and I cannot find a topic in detail if this is against eula.

I have no desire to participate/host one of these events. I am curious however, if someone can point me to the correct area that goes into detail about these rules.

Several people are on my side in Trade chat when i tell the "gold gamblers" that what they are doing is a bannable offense.

There is also a good deal of people fighting that it IS ok and that i am wrong. They say doing it with real money is illegal, not gold.

I just merely state that what they are doing is gambling. By saying that in trade chat i hope other people will not give the guy money hoping for a win.

It seems wrong and should be clarified to me so i can stop or continue to help ward off these folks.

I have ignored 7 players during the last hour alone and i fear that this will get out of hand if more people think its ok.

While we welcome our players to make friendly in-game wagers, we have chosen not to allow casino advertisements due to the amount of spam that occurs as a result of these activities. We monitored the casino trend as it was first beginning and quickly found that the advertisements generated by casinos were an inconvenience to our players. As a result, we elected to make this form of advertisement in violation of our policies.

Please feel free to bring any advertisements to our attention by opening an in-game petition or right-clicking the player's name and selecting "Report Spam."
