Key changes have been made behind the scenes, folks. Accordingly, we expect to see these Faction Changes to begin processing once more in the very near future. Please keep an eye on your registered e-mail address for the latest information surrounding your individual requests.
We are still investigating an issue surrounding our Paid Character Transfer service. If you have submitted a Paid Character Transfer, received an e-mail indicating the transfer was completed, and yet cannot access your character, please provide us with the name and realm of the character so that we may look into this further. If you have recently submitted a Paid Character Transfer but do not see your character on the destination realm, please create a new character on the realm to refresh your character select screen.

Greetings all.
I just wanted to give you an idea of where we are on this.
I spoke with some folks when I came in today and it looks like our Database Administration Team is working with our Developers/programs in order to resolve the issue. I do not currently have a ETA on when the matter will be resolved.
For clarity, this should only apply to those characters who's transactions are taking an unusually long time. This may not apply to you if you recently transferred the character and initiated a Faction Change without logging into the newly transferred character to rename it. In that case it could simply require you to log into the character and select a new name which should allow you to re-initiate and complete the Faction Change process normally.
Most of you should know who you are as I have stated specifically that I have forwarded your information up to help in the case. I may be able to look into individual cases but please only inquire if your process has been in queue for 12+ hours.
If you are experiencing the processing error canceling and restarting your Faction Change or Transfer will likely not help as the issue is with the character itself and needs to be resolved from our end. You may completely cancel your transaction and play the character normally while we work on resolving the matter.
Please note that this remains a high priority issue and as soon as I am given an update I will pass it along. I can not thank you enough for your continued patience and understanding while this issue is being resolved.
