Transaction unsuccessful for faction change

I'm trying to get a faction change for a character of mine, but the credit card information will NOT be accepted. I have double checked, even triple checked the card information, and it is indeed correct. I dont really understand why the card is being declined. When i try to "finallize" the faction change it says "An error has occurred on this page - Transaction unsuccessful. If you are sure the credit card number was entered correctly, please contact Billing & Account Services for further assistance."

Ha of course. So now I call 10 times to finally be put on hold for "40-45" minutes. I've already been on for 35 minutes.

C'mon blizzard, this is MONEY we're talking about. [Removed]

Oh and yesterday, I did a server change for the same character and I had no problems.. Figures.

I am sorry for what frustration this may have caused you, Tasty.

Receiving such an error usually indicates that the provided payment method is incompatible in some way with the selected online purchasing system (in this case, a digital upgrade). This doesn't mean that the payment method is invalid or in poor standing. Rather, it's just a sign that something isn't syncing up with the online transaction. I understand that you may have made a similar purchase recently that went through perfectly, Tasty, unfortunately the security perimeters seem to have picked up something.

In these situations, it's sometimes best to first ensure that the account's billing information is up to date. If everything looks solid, then you're welcome to contact our Billing & Account Services department by phone (like you're in the process of doing).
