I mean, I've encountered a few people on my main that's made a big deal about this new mount and hasn't stopped harassing me about it since yesterday. People spend income on useless things like fast food, smokes, and beer. but people go out of their way to make someone miserable over $25 dollars on a pixelated mount really.

I never post on the forums but people are really angry with how big other people's wallets are for what I can see. :S

Well, I think it's pretty safe to say that a new Celestial Steed will run you substantially less than a Porsche. Like any purchase, it is very much a personal decision as to whether the costs are worth the benefits to you. Personally, I think our new store offerings, Lil' XT included, are pretty rad. I was very, very impressed when I first saw the Celestial Steed, and I hope it will bring its new owners a lot of pleasure.

Of course, it's a purely optional purchase, and there are a ton of other amazing items in-game available for varying amounts of time and effort. We'll also continue to introduce amazing new in-game items in the future that you can earn via normal gameplay. Certainly, no one is obligated to purchase the new mount, and I hope that they never feel as though they are missing out on anything. On the same token, no one should have to second guess a legitimate choice they make related to World of Warcraft for fear of harassment.

If you feel that you've been genuinely harassed, or someone has approached you with hostile language in-game for any reason, please submit an in-game petition including the name and realm of the offending player, as well as a description of what was said. We do take harassment quite seriously, and this will offer our staff the opportunity to investigate and take appropriate action. Please keep in mind that we will never reveal the actions taken against another player due to our privacy policies as well.

Here is a link to our Harassment Policies page for reference:
