I'm confused. While doing a random bg (sota) yesterday from start to finish i ended up with the most number of honorable kills between all players, also the most healing done and the most gates destroyed, four of them. When the match was over and we won after i clicked the sphere i thought to myself "i will probably get around 7k honor since i did so much, healed so much, and helped my team win. Well, i was wrong. I got around 3550 honor, one of the lowest. I think i was the second or third lowest. The highest honor was given to this dk , around 6200, almost double of mine. I checked his numbers. He had less honorable kills than i did, not a single gate destroyed, but he had a lot of killing blows.

This was not the first time i noticed this problem. Also doing warsong gulch im usually the highest on healing done, hk's and flags capped, but one of the lowest when honor is awarded in the end. It seems to me that dps gets more honor than healers because of killing blows.

I would politely ask someone from the community or from blizzard to explain how the calculation is made, because apparently it is based on killing blows, not on honorable kills or what you do to help win the match (destroy gates, cap flags, capture nodes, towers, etc.) It seems to be purely based on dps, so healers get screwed.

Is anyone else feeling they are not being awarded the right amount of honor when they did so much in a match, compared to other players who didn't do much and just standed in the middle all game?

All comments and insights are welcome. Thank you

This might help explain some of the changes that went in to Battlegrounds recently-

As for the discrepancy in actual awarded honor, without more information on that particular run, I couldn't delve too deeply into it. The most I can do is see about doing some additional follow-up on how these are being calculated much like we did in the past, but there is no telling when we might be able to get to that given all the other information we're working to get out to everyone. I'll do what I can though.
