Black Dragonflight Random BG Queue times

The times on Black Dragonflight for queuing up for random BGs varies quite greatly between horde and alliance. On my alliance character I get in nearly instantly, on horde my avg wait time is well over 10 mins.... Is this normal and why does it happen like this.

Remember, Tuna, that in order for a Battleground to launch enough people must be in queue. If you find that one faction has shorter queue times, it is likely that the opposing faction has already queued enough people for the Battleground to launch and is simply waiting for more members of your faction to have enough people enter the queue. If these tendencies continue, you may notice that one queue can be significantly longer as a result of all the people waiting for their Battleground queue.
