Faction Change, Pending but I can log in???/

I have a pending faction change on this character. It has been active since this morning (7 hours now) which doesn't really bother me, although I'm used to it only taking 30 minutes to an hour on my other characters I've used this service for.

What does bother me is the fact that I can still log into my character that has the pending faction transfer. I was under the impression this isn't supposed to be the case.

I apologize for the 1000th thread with this issue, I'm a firm believer in "the bigger the issue is, the quicker it gets fixed."

Technically, characters should lock when you initiate one of the services such as the Faction Change or Character Transfer. Though having the character not locked in itself shouldn't cause an issue but the act of logging into the character may. Logging into the character while the character is processing can cause further delay or even an error in the process.

It looks like you have already canceled and re-initiated your Faction Change, Phics, just keep an eye on the Transaction page and it will update when your process is complete.
