i referred a friend and he took the e=mail and created an account with his 10 day trial yet it still shows us as not linked and not getting the extra xp...is there something i am missing?

It sounds like he may have accidentally created a normal trial via the Battle.net page. Do not worry though, I can attempt to help :) Could you provide the name of your friends character and realm? Also, is this account you are posting on the one you sent the invite out from?
