Missing the family?

No, I was lucky enough to see them this morning; though only for a few hours, it was better than the last two years when I was in Austin. But if you are offering to come cheer people up, I figured I would get in line. :0)

What about your stuff?

I never understood why in the movies, during an earthquake there's always lots of nice china falling off shelves, why put it there if there's a danger?

You don't, unless you're a fool, it's always secured in some way (or the cabinet door it's in is secured in some way. Furniture is bolted to the floor and walls, gas and water has automatic shutoffs if the pressure drops too much (such as a line break), that sort of thing.

Ya, I mean pictures, art and swords are mounted to the wall securely enough to ensure that they will not fall on you during such events.

At least you hope they are.

Amazingly addictive aren't they? I've never seen a character that took sarcasm to such a level before. It's simply brilliant.

Not this time around, though.... no idea if there will be a next time yet, either.

I would LOVE to have twins, when the time comes. I have a pair of cousins that are twins, as well as a set of uncles, so.... here's to hoping! :0D

Sadly, its the mom's side that need to have the history. But if you have girls your family's genetics will increase their odds of having twins.

The cousins are on my mother's side, uncles are on my dad's.

I gotcha, misread that the first time through. >.<

I guess that will have to be added into the list of “requirements.” Sigh, the Battle.net Matchmaking Service wouldn’t find anything for me before, I’m going to have an even harder time now. ;0/

They finally reopened the coffee cart at the hospital I work at and she's advertising Mango smoothies.

For the curious, she was shut down not long after I started working there as someone in the city decided to site her for some stupid thing or another.

Nice! Next time you order a mango smoothie from her you need to mention that it is for a turtle. :0)
