Paid Character Transfer Pending - 1 Week

So, today officially marks the 1 week mark for my paid character transfer. This is altogether silly. After initiating the transfer I waited 72 hours, I called billing and it had errored out so it needed to be restarted. I waited another 96 hours, I called billing and again it errored out and needed to be restarted.

Am I going to be playing this same wait/restart game indefinitely? Is my transfer ever going to finish? Is it possible that sometimes it's just impossible to transfer a certain character? Am I alone in this? Is Blizzard working on a fix to my problem or am I an isolated incident and, therefore, since the vast majority of players are unaffected, it's not an issue and they're not going to bother to fix it?

The reason why this is so frustrating for me is that all of my friends were able to transfer to the new realm successfully while I'm stuck waiting indefinitely for this realm transfer to go through. If I can't play with my friends I don't really have a reason to play this game and we (collectively, all four of us) will probably find a new game to play on the weekends.

I want some answers.

I have the exact same problem. Tried twice so far with 2-3 days of pending each time. I did a race change on a different character and that happened immediately so it can't be credit card issues, has to be something with the transfer/character.

I was advised to restart it but again it's been a few days and nothing.

Could we have a blue look into this again for us?

We canceled this and did a bit of work. Please see if you can request this again, hopefully this time it will go through. Note: You may get multiple pending charges on this, but only the one that goes through is actually going to 'stick', the rest should fall off within just a few days.

Twidd, we've not forgotten about your case.

There are actually multiple issues at work in various cases. Yours is proving to be a little more challenging in why it's not going through. I don't have an update for your case yet - but hopefully soon.

Just make sure to log into the character between transactions. Things should be well now.

You jumped in the other thread, Twiddiseld, did you read my response to you? We understand that there is an issue that is preventing some transfers from going through but it takes time to investigate the matter and figure out what is causing it.

I completely understand the frustration, Twiddiseld. We are trying to investigate why this is affecting some characters and not others as well as find a work around and eventually a universal fix for the issue.

I'll provide an update in the following thread as soon as I have one.
