So i had a WoW account which i stopped playing and the account went into "Frozen" status. I wanted to play WoW again a while after but i want to cancel my first account and start a new one. So first of all, i tried to cancel my first account and make a new account, but apparently battle.net wont let me cancel my account for some odd reason. Then i tried to use the CD-Key i used for my first account for my new account which should work since i cancelled my first accout, (well tried to cancel it but apparently the system wont let me cancel any account) then when i tried putting in my CD-Key it said that this CD-Key is already associated with an account which should not be coming up since the only account i used this CD-Key for was the one i cancelled, or tried to cancel.
Then i looked at the forums and it says that on my battle.net account i should see which CD-Keys are associated with my accounts in the game portion of the site. Well first of all there is no "Game" tab on the home screen, where the forums claim this button to be, then i have no way of seeing what CD-Keys are associated with my accounts.

So i would like some help on how to delete my account so i can use my CD-Key for a new account and i would suggest putting a "Game" tab on the site where the forums claim there is a tab and make it possible for me or anyone to cancel an account they don't want anymore and make it so people wouldnt have to go buy another game in order to have only one account.

If i have to go buy a new game, i will not do this so you will lose a buyer and i will tell everyone that is thinking of buying this game not to because that is rediculus. i already spent my money on this game and i still only have one account there is no reason to spend more money for another account when there isnt even two accounts!

Well I can. In the case where you are hacked, get a FOB, and then Blizzard says you still appear to be performing unlawful activity. To stop getting their e-mails and try to stop a supposed hacker from accessing your account, I deleted mine. Now I started a new account not realizing once a key is used by youonce, it can't be used again by you on a brand new account after the old one was deleted? That is like saying you get an authentic copy of Win OS, install it on a PC. Now that PC dies, you trash it, get a new PC, and now you can't use that software cause it was a one time thing? It does not make sense.

Those situations aren't quite the same, Shiagi. In the situation that you are describing, it would simply be easier for you to change the battle.net e-mail address associated with your account. That would accomplish the same goal you are trying to reach (making a new, unused e-mail associated with your World of Warcraft account).

Drunknsoul, was there any particular reason you did not want to reactivate your old account? I am taking a look at it and it appears to be in good standing, so I am a bit confused as to why you would need to 'reuse' your authentication key.
