If someone is sexually harassing you, telling you they'll pay you to give them oral and saying they forced themselves on you, should you report it or just start mouthing off back? I ask because the way this system is, the best way, IMO, is to mouth off back at this point and here is why.
So little punishment is doled out anymore...if it ever was to begin with...that when someone is reported, they laugh it off. "I'll only get a warning". They don't care. And I'll be honest here...I'm pissed and I'm sick of being crapped on because I'm a girl. I don't go around drawing attention to myself, I don't start fights. But when guys want to belittle me, they go right for the throat and I've had enough. I think there are certain things a person shouldn't be able to get away with but I know that what happens is 100% money centered.
No one should get away with telling a girl they'll pay them to give them oral or saying they will or have abused them. Did you know that in almost any other setting, that would warrant legal action? Sometimes I wonder if it would online, too.
What about racism? Or what if someone threatened to kill someone or told them to go kill themselves? I mean, this whole idea of "the reports stack" is bullcrap. This is why these people do it. They know they stack, they don't care, they know they are safe. And to feel safe when sexually harassing people for fun is sickening. Why is their "right" to sexually harass me, belittle me, and treat me like crap protected before I am?
I want off the damn server but I'm stuck with all these trolls and jerks transferring onto it for free constantly. I don't feel I should have to pay to transfer away from this crap or that my boyfriend and brother should have to pay to follow me. And I'm so tired of dealing with it knowing nothing I do will help that I don't see much reason to play anymore. Gaming is supposed to be fun and this isn't fun. And no, I don't think anyone cares about whether I or my friends play anymore. I just don't like what I'm paying for.
And yes, I did report him. He hopped on an alt to tell me that he'll "only be warned" and he's probably right.
