Before I got banned, I would say around 2-4hours ago I posted a guild advertisement (this was a macro,) I clicked it ONCE. Not twice, three times, or four times; just ONCE. Then I enter a dungeon and get disconnected which is not odd at all since my internet/netbook isn't anywhere near high-end. Upon my return i'm greeted with a "Your account has been permanently closed and no longer for use" sign in. I was kinda sad and wanted to know what I did wrong. I called your departments and got access to my account again thanks to a very helpful GM (30 min call was worth it). I forgot to mention that the reason for my banning was "Spamming and Adverting". I asked the GM on the phone what this means? He said the system banned me and this is controlled by people reporting other individuals using the report as spam feature. I don't know what pathetic jerks would report me but reporting me for trying to establish a guild is PRETTY freaking low.
Okay, so it's been about a week later since my first ban on my account. I decided to click my macro again, keep in mind its just a macro that posts a message in General. For example: " /2 <Limited Edition> is now recruiting all levels to join...." but more detailed. Well, I go back into a dungeon after I posted it and about 2-4hours I posted my guild advertisement I GET BANNED AGAIN, PERMANENTLY. It's VERY FRUSTRATING WHEN I GET BANNED FOR TRYING TO PLAY AND ESTABLISH A GUILD. Why are individuals ABUSING the report as spam feature? Jealousy? I don't know but I shouldn't get banned for any reason but for the right ones. I would've accepted the ban if I knew I did something wrong but i'm not going to let me be thrown around like a rag doll.
Lets continue, I go to my email and reply to it. Email said same reason and if I had any disputes please reply to the email. So I did and go to bed since I was banned in 4-5am (Eastern Standard) and knowing your offices are open until 2-3pm (Eastern Standard). I wake up at 6pm and I check my email to find that my account has been restored. But the GM who served me passed it off if I was hacked or something? When I clearly wasn't and wasted one of my item restores on 4g and a bunch of garbage I sold to a vendor. (But thank you for trying, the help was appreciated).
Okay so my overall point here is why am I getting banned? Why are people reporting me for trying to establish a guild and why are the staff this passing this off every time? Do you guys know if this is a problem and trying to fix it? I don't know I just hope I don't get banned again for the wrong reasons, I hate seeing my time taken away because of immature individuals reporting others for trying to help others and himself.
I also have one more thing to add; my friends tell me about an addon called "BadBoy" thats an auto reporter for spammed messages. You guys should look into that, maybe that addon is reporting me or something. I don't know, I just wan't this resolved before half of the time I paid for is taken away closed account disputes.
I hope you guys can see where i'm coming from and if other individuals who has experienced the SAME PROBLEM or somewhat similar please post and share.
