Last time I tried I couldn't get past Sulphuron Harbringer and his four healing buddies and Golemagg made quite short work of me. A few more upgrades and I managed to get both of them down, as expected Major Domo was simple as his side kicks are still level 62.
So I went to try Ragnaros, just after I started the summoning there is a message about a server restart in 15 minutes so only enough time for one go and I'm not sure what gear to wear. Getting this far involved quite a few wardrobe changes as I juggled shadow and fire resistance.
As I expected I didn't get him first go, I figured I would wait for the server restart and have another go with more FR gear.
I get back there and there is no Major Domo to start the summon and as there has been a soft reset Ragnaros isn't up either. I was baffled, talking about it with a guild mate we thought it might be the two hour timer and I should try again the next day. Neither of us could remember clearly, it was a long time ago now, but we thought there was a two hour window or something. Anyway I came back 24 hours later and nothing has changed, I checked again just before which is a couple of days later and still no change.
I am going to assume that this is a new bug somehow introduced but if it is fixable, like the Sunwell gates I read about in a different thread here, I thought I should post to see. I have a ticket in but a couple of days later and it hasn't changed from the "We are currently experiencing a high volume of petitions." I would really like to get back in there this reset as I think I can do it, if I'm right I will probably keep going until I get the Eye.
