Faction Transfer questions

I am thinking of faction transferring and then maybe server transferring after.

I've heard rumours that if i have "loremaster" or "the exhalted" I would lose these titles, as well as many of the reputations, quests.

I've read the FAQ on it (yes I see mounts switch, and some reputations switch), and some people tell me I don't lose anything.

One thing that seems consistant in what people say is the Argent tournament has to be redone, and much of Icecrown's quests.

Icecrown being the only thing that is reset I can take, but if i lose all the reps, then the idea of faction transferring doesn't sound ideal.

Here's how it breaks down. *cracks knuckles*


Quests:
  • All faction-specific quests will be removed from your character's completed quest log. Faction neutral-quests that are part of series gated by faction-specific quests (think Shadow Vault, Sons of Hodir, etc) will also be removed.
  • As a result of these quests being removed from your character's completed quest log, access to certain daily quests, vendors, and flight points may be temporarily removed. You can regain access to these amenities, though, by completing the appropriate quests for your new faction.
  • All quest lines associated with the Argent Tournament will be reset.



Achievements:
  • Excluding achievements related to the Argent Tournament, you will not lose any complete achievement credit. These achievements will either translate to a faction-specific equivalent or remain the same.
  • Achievement progress may be affected, particularly if the achievement criteria is quest-based (ie - "X quests completed" and "Complete X quests in Y zone"). This is because some quests will be removed from your character's completed quest log during the Faction Change process, as noted above.
  • All achievements related to the Argent Tournament will be reset.



Titles:
  • Excluding titles related to the Argent Tournament, you will not lose any gained title. Titles that are not considered faction-specific will remain unchanged by this process. Faction-specific titles will be exchanged for a cross-faction equivalent.
  • All titles related to the Argent Tournament will be removed/reset.



Reputations:
  • Excluding Argent Tournament reputations (Silver Covenant/Sunreavers), you will not lose any major reputation. Upon changing factions, the reputation level associated with your character's previous race will become the reputation level of your new race. All other racial reputations will be converted according the chart I've provided below.

      Orc (Orgrimmar) ↔ Human (Stormwind)
      Tauren (Thunder Bluff) ↔ Gnome (Gnomeregan Exiles)
      Undead (The Undercity) ↔ Night Elf (Darnassus)
      Troll (Sen'jin) ↔ Dwarf (Ironforge)
      Blood Elf (Silvermoon) ↔ Draenei (The Exodar)


  • Additional faction-specific reputations will be converted into their cross-faction equivalents (if a cross-faction equivalent exists).
  • Faction neutral reputations will not be affected by this process (ie - Timbermaw), and faction-specific reputations which do not possess an equivalent will be lost (ie - Tranquilien).
  • Silver Covenant and Sunreavers reputation will be reset.
