Paid char transfer via gift card

So I got an American Express gift card for my birthday with 25$ on it. I want to get a paid character transfer, and I've used one of these before to do it.

" An error has occurred on this page We encountered a problem processing this credit card.
Please contact Billing & Account Services for further assistance. "

That keeps coming up, I double and triple checked I put in all the fields correctly and it still does not work.
Did Blizzard stop supporting these cards?

I'm afraid that we never directly supported gift cards of this variety, Shockagon. While it is true that there are some gift cards that will function normally when purchasing our paid services, there is a chance that we will be unable to accept this form of payment. Please make sure you read the credit card information carefully and follow all instructions related to using the gift card to make online purchases; many of these gift cards will require you to register the card online to ensure online processing and fraud prevention systems are able to accept the card. If you are given the opportunity to register the card online, please take the time to do this.

Also, please be aware that in order to process a Paid Character Transfer, we must verify the legitimacy of the card by making a $1 pending charge. Because there is only $25 available on your particular gift card and the full $25 is required to finance the transfer, it may present issues when attempting to make the purchase. If possible, I suggest adding funds to the card or speaking with a friend, family member, or coworker who may be willing to allow you to use their credit card in exchange for the gift card.
