Mail error: Cannot Find Mail Recipient

I'm preparing to transfer a toon to a different server so I've been mailing items and gold to and from alts as well as letters to contacts.

Earlier tonight while trying to send a mail I got the error "You have reached the in-game cap of unique mail recipients". I figured okay, this must be to prevent spam mails.

So I try to send mail to the same alt I've been mailing to and from for days (very much not a ''unique'' mail recipient) and I get the error "Cannot find mail recipient". I'm unable to send mail to and from any of my alts now, I get the same error message.

I'm definitely not spelling the names wrong, the characters definitely still exist on the realm, and I've tried it on 2 different computers, so reinstalling and/or deleting program folders is not an option.

Please fix this issue or explain it so that I can transfer or at least know when I'll be able to transfer my character!!

Thankyou.

I know there are some restrictions on mail, but what the exact parameters are I'm not sure. Most players under normal circumstances never hit those limits.

I do see quite a few goodbye notes, that is probably coming into play here.

If this is the case, once some of those are pulled, or enough time passes you should be able to continue mails.

I'm afraid there really isn't anything we can do to impact those restrictions/timers.

I'd try again in a few hours, see if it frees up.

If this doesn't seem better - say, by 12-24 hours, please do let us know.
