The following response was written by one of our new teammates. Because they are still in training and do not yet possess a forum account of their own, they shall be posting via proxy through me. Currently, “ninja” looting, is not possible within the World of Warcraft. It is typically defined as looting something you have no right to, which, with World of Warcraft’s looting mechanics, is not possible. Players that have access to loot (as in are physically able to pick up an item) are just as eligible for that loot as anyone else that participated in the kill.
That said, scamming is indeed something we do not tolerate and will be happy to investigate. If loot rules are clearly stated and agreed to, yet another player violates that agreement, that can be considered a scam. I’d encourage you to ensure all loot rules are clearly laid out in a raid before “loot drama” has a chance to rear its ugly head.
