I have purchased a $75 CAD VanillaMastercard Giftcard for the sole purpose of trasferring 1 of my character and 1 character in my girlfriend's account (both from server A****** to server D*******

We have not played since September/October and we were excited to come back to join some friends that recently have started playing this game.

On 03/13/2010 Evening, I have created a hunter character in the new server D*********

On the other hand my girlfriend decided that she will not make a new character, instead she wanted to transfer her old character
On 03/14/2010 10:52 PM she has made a payment of $25 USD (translating to $25.59CAD) to transfer her character Jiatong (64Shaman at the time in Acct Kur*********@*******.com
*This has been the FIRST, LAST, and ONLY transaction on a $75CAD giftcard

Roughly about an hour ago, as I have planned, I began the process of another paid server transfer for my Own Character Wakeandbake 80warrior (acct chy***********@*******.com)

Payment did not go through. After trying a few times, it was evident that something was wrong.

From the Vanillamastercard.com i pulled out the transaction history.

The only transaction that I know of isthe first one. We are completely unaware of the 03/16/20 transaction including the foreign exchange surcharge.

I have double checked my and my girlfriend's battle net accounts for any trace of transaction history (in case it is our mistake) but nothing showed up.

Now we have reasons to believe that this transaction is a mistake on Blizzard's part. As it may not seem like much, it has ruined our one good night of gaming and I would like to hear from Blizzard ASAP about this matter, as I am still "dying" to transfer my warrior to this server.

I know it is not any single person's fault but it was disappointing to see this kind of thing happening with such famous company. I would not even have noticed it if it happened to my Regular credit card. (Which i NEVER use for online transaction whatsoever)

I wish I could give you a more concrete answer to this question, but billing details just aren't available outside of our Billing department.

I can tell you that if multiple attempts are made and unsuccessful, sometimes pending charges can stay around a few days until they auto-clear, but nothing should go through to match them unless a transaction was actually successful.

Prepaids tend to take a little longer to clear off, but the rules governing such issues are made by the credit card companies and banks themselves.

If you'd like to inquire further with Billing, I'll post their contact numbers below.
