The following response was written by one of our new teammates. Because they are still in training and do not yet possess a forum account of their own, they shall be posting via proxy through me.

This does appear to be a legitimate email, Darkslayere. However, if you are confused by the content or curious about the legitimacy of the message, I’d recommend giving our Billing and Account Services department a call. They will be able to help explain the situation and offer any assistance they can.

Q u o t e:
this is just anoying.

I found out today from school that my friend went into my account and changed my characters faction...

Now can i get it back somehow?

Your friend logged onto your account and then paid $30 for a Faction Change?

No, Darkslayere, I'm afraid there is no way to simply stop the whole thing. The activities on the account warranted that it be locked, I'm afraid we will be unable to provide account access unless ID verification is done.

We are sorry for what inconvenience and frustration this may cause. Our goal is to make sure that the registered user, and only the registered user has access to the account.
