Making all the gear that is purchasable by badges below triumph BOE. At least all the ilvl 200/219/226 belts/necks/cloaks and whatever else you can buy from valor and the other badges below triumph.

This would help greatly in making alts heroic ready without completely eliminating the need for them to do heroics.

We currently don't plan to do this as we feel it makes sense to run a couple of normal dungeons (possibly) on the character you'd like to gear up and then run heroics until your heart is content.

I suppose this is okay, it was more because you already need so many triumphs on a fresh 80 to complete a set being able to grab some other pieces from alts who have way too many triumph saved up would alleviate some of that pain.

I'm just one of those person who enjoys getting geared quickly once I get a new character to 80 =)

It's true that a main character can pile up a bunch of triumph/frost emblems at this point and not be too sure what to do with them. You could always make some gold via epic gems though - that will empty out your stores pretty fast.

We mainly just want to try and keep players focused on the idea of playing a character they want to gear up and not allow their one main character to take care of a whole set of alts.

How about heroism badges from the normals then?

No need to try and change things around for anything. It's not uncommon to have a pretty fresh 80 in a run and (at least in my experience) it's rarely a problem and after just a couple upgrades it's no big deal and you can cross that gap from "fresh and weak" to "just another toon" pretty quick.

I think this statement is indicative to the whole air of dissatisfaction with the way this game is developed. It shouldn't be what you guys want, it should be what we want as the paying customers.

We will always design, alter, and update the game based on what we feel is best for the game. It should come as no surprise that what we feel is best for the game is different from your perspective but that doesn't meant we won't do it.

And we will disagree that we should always do what the players want as it is very rare for players to completely agree on something. We do appreciate player feedback and we do take it into consideration, but that doesn't mean our focus is altered from what I stated above.
