Hi there I'm a little discouraged. Last night at about 12 am someone replied to my trade chat message while I was looking for a blacksmith to make legplates of painful death. The player took my mats and then proceeded to log off. I added his name to freinds list and waited. I opened a ticket and made note of what happened and the name of the character.

About half hour later I was explaining what happened in guild chat and a freind of mine had seen this guy before and knew he had an alt. To my luck he was online without any gear and mulling around a mailbox and he explained that he was getting DCed as soon as he got to the loading screen. After watching his main log in a few times verry shadily and log off another guildie recognized the guild he was in and how the exact thing happened to a friend of his. Someone from the exact same guild scammed the owner of about 12k worth of mats and transferred off the server. I also learned it took 2 weeks for him to get his mats back...

This morning I got an in game mail from his alt returning 20 eternal shadow but I'm still out 8 primordial saronites and 12 titansteel. Anything more I can do?

Q u o t e:

From what Ive been told today by an account representative, should a GM get to me and answer my ticket before he transfers there shouldn't be a problem restoring my items and freezing the account of the suspect character. However if he should transfer before a GM gets to me from what I hear it gets more complicated due to it being a restoration only a specialist can do and that could take 10 to 14 days. Im getting a little antsy tho as ticket times are around 3 days atm. I think the damage may already be done. :(

They can run - they can't hide :)

Does it get a wee more complex - sure, but nothing insurmountable.

The sooner this is followed up on the better though.
