Can't Upgrade to BC from BC Trial Acct.

Hello all. Having a bit of a problem here. A few days back, I logged into my old classic WoW account, that had no time left and wasnt paying monthly or anything, and I clicked to do a Burning Crusade 10 day trial. I have 4 days left, and I was going to upgrade to Burning Crusade, then after that, to Wrath of Lich King. But whenever I put in the credit card info at the digital upgrade screen, It comes up with:


Error 202: We were unable to process your request with the information provided. Please consider purchasing a retail copy of the game or contacting <a href="http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?articleId=20606&rhtml=true?rhtml=y">Billing and Account Services</a> for further assistance.

Now, after retrying about 4 times, I became very frustrated (to say the least) and I wanted to know if anyone else was having this problem, and if possibly a GM could help me. I'd perfer to get help from a GM online. I'm a bit shy on the phone. plus I dont like being on hold. Thank you! Help is much appreciated.

"Error 202" usually indicates that the provided payment method is incompatible in some way with the selected online purchasing system (in this case, a digital upgrade). This doesn't mean that the payment method is invalid or in poor standing. Rather, it's just a sign that something isn't syncing up with the online transaction.

In these situations, it's sometimes best to first ensure that the account's billing information is up to date. If everything looks solid, then you're welcome to contact our Billing & Account Services department by phone (like you're in the process of doing). Our representatives will be happy to work with you and assist with your transaction in any way possible. :)
