Any recourse if someone ninja's loot in raid?

I was in an Onyxia raid today. There was no announcement of loot rules at the start, but the standard for pug on my server is to roll on main-spec loot and then all roll on bags.

There was a roll on the hunter loot, but then the helm and bag went to people the master-looter picked and then he dropped group.

Master-looter and group-leader went to someone who was afk and there is no way for us to get the loot.

Is there any way to fix this? We have been sitting in this instance for what seems like 30mins and the afk person has finally gone offline, but still maintains master-loot and group leadership.

Q u o t e:
Thanks Thunderwulf, but what happens when the master-looter drops group and leave 23 people without loot. The bag he gave to his friend I don't care too much about but I've been doing the raid regularly to try and get the head of Onyxia and that and the bag of gems was left to rot on the corpse (and a warlock helm, but no warlocks).

I did take all safe guards possible to ensure good run, the raid leader was from the top alliance guild on my server so they should have been trustworthy right?

What if I ask for person who was master-looter to put in a ticket asking for the loot to be distributed to the raid?

If something was left on the corpse, there may be a chance.

I'd put a petition in on that - naming the raid, approximate time and the item(s) that was left on the corpse.

On the corpse isn't technically claimed (well, unless someone else put in a petition), we have a little latitude in those cases if no prior claims are filed.

If the master-looter is willing to put in a petition, that would be optimal, but you could ask this be looked into as well under that circumstance.
