Why only random BG for 80's !?!?

Shouldn't anyone below that enjoy the same service ? There are probably more level 80's in this game then any other level, so if anything the queue should be less for them, then say someone that is 75, assuming the 80's are all grouped together.

This sort of leads to another point. You can't blow you nose in this game unless you are 80. Rep Rewards, PVP Rewards, Instance requirements, equipment etc. It is any wonder that within two weeks of the expansion people had raced to be level 80 ? Will anything change in Cata ? I hope so, but I doubt it.

Could you further explain your reasoning for this? The random battleground feature just came out and we will see how it goes. Things can always change in the future but with a large amount of the player base being (or have multiple) level 80, we wanted to make sure this worked for that area and all of the existing battlegrounds.
