Does it go away after 30 days? Or is it longer than 30 days?
Does it re-mail it to you or is it gone for good?

I quit WoW previously before 2.1, and when I came back shortly after WotLK launched my old 43 Warlock had mail with no days showing (30, 29, etc., etc.) that contained money from auctions I put up right before canceling.
That likely had to do with a previous mailing issue that happened around that time.
Normally, Dieing, any outstanding mail will delete after 30 days. We are generally unable to recover it once it does.
