Anyone else miss walking?

Too many times while leveling did I randomly group with people who, after a wipe, would ask "Where is the instance? I've never been in this zone before"

All someone has to do to level anymore is stand in a city and press i. Why did Blizzard even create the world if no one is going to schlep to scarlet monastery from Southshore? Or get lost on the way to the entrance of Uldaman or Sunken temple, not to mention BRD. Getting to the instances in BRD was awesome. It made the game feel epic as balls. Walking down a chain suspended over lava? Too bad everyone that has started playing the game has completely missed out on it.

Also, when was the last time anyone ran Dire Maul, let alone get the key and use it?

Edit: Typo

I don't miss the extra half an hour of needlessly waiting for my party members to arrive at the instance. I also don't miss the additional time it took to find a group while leveling because the extra effort of getting there made the experience gain inefficient compared to leveling. If I'm feeling nostalgic, I can choose to manually travel to an instance, or run around the world.

Two months ago, I was leveling leatherworking on a new character. It wasn't exciting like it used to be, because it was no longer a brand new experience.
