Credit card being charged multiple times...

Hello Blizz,

I have sent a email to billing but I must say I'm freaking out! I signed up for a 6 month subscription (from my normal 3mth subscription) on 9/04/09 and believed, as a total, the subscription would cost me the $77 (including the extra for exchange rate.)

Imagine my surprise when, out of concern my credit card was very low of funds, I had the bank do a audit on my card and from 09/03/2010 - 14/07/2009 (not even including the months before I started the 6th month subscriptions) Blizzard had charged my card over $1000. On some days multi times.

Needless to say having paid you over $1000 for a six month subscription has left me a little freaked out, especially how it's just one account and i thought I was signing up for a subscription under $100.

Please please please please respond to my email I sent you ASAP I am feeling quite ill about this to be truthful.

((EDIT: Also I should mention, to save those 'some one is hacking you/ using your card' posts, I'm an adult who has kept this card only in my home, it has never left my home and the only online payment I have made is to blizzard for this account and a couple of pets off their wow store. Also my Norton software and firewalls are as updated as you can get. So there is a massive error that has happened in billing.))

I'd contact Billing immediately on this.

I don't have access to those records, but if I had to hazard an educated guess - you are likely paying for other accounts.

That would likely be a case of unauthorized use - if this is indeed what's happened.

Billing should be able to tell you where those charges applied. Unfortunately, I don't have access to those types of records, I wish I could shed a bit more light on this for you.

I do see your email here - you may still wish to call Billing on this.

i did have someone go over this briefly, and these charges will need to be teased apart, and they'll also need further contact with you to track down any other accounts that may have been billed.

Now, that said, this account has a LOT of transactions on it such as faction transfers, name changes, etc.

There does seem to be a question as to whether another account may be being billed to that card, that is all things they can help you with. At the moment, it will likely be 2-3 days on an email to Billing.
